Johns Creek and a Delicious Mexican Restaurant

Loving Mexican food as I do you can only imagine how excited I was to try 7 Tequilas Johns Creek . While it is not in my neighborhood I decided that I would drive out to John’s Creek and personally meet with the team behind this exciting chain of delicious Mexican restaurants and welcome them to the Polo in the Pines family and try some chips and salsa. What I got was so much more than what I was expecting!

Excellent People Making Delicious Food

Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted by Chef Luis and Chef Daniel, two of the most charming ambassadors and culinary duo that I have met in quite some time! You can taste their passion for food in every bite and their excitement is contagious. Listening to them speak about how the menu was developed offered incredible insight into their process and helped me to understand the awesome menu that truly has something for everyone.

This family owned and operated restaurant chain is hands on in every decision that is made from the chips and salsa to the most refreshing of cocktails, and you can taste their pride in everything that they create!

Appetizers

The chips were piping hot and the salsas were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and they paired perfectly with my cucumber margarita; a drink so good that you will be ordering a second before you finish your first! I am in love with the guacamole and pickled red onions on tostada. Crunchy and perfectly portioned, this appetizer was delightful and jam packed full of everything that makes an avocado stand up and shine!

My second cocktail was a split serving of frozen margarita and house made sangria! One floated on the other and as they blended together the duo created a perfect blend that paired with what was to be the most amazing lunch that I have had in a Mexican restaurant in some time.

Main Course

Enter the CAZUELON ESPECIAL!!! This combination plate consisted of a perfectly prepared grilled ribeye steak, pounded chicken breast, and sausage all served over a bed of beautifully prepared onions, peppers, and zucchini. Served with black beans, rice and tortillas, this show stopper of a lunch was just what I needed to brighten my day! Each bite was more favored than the bite before and everything stayed piping hot because of the heated cast iron serving plate! They really did think of everything.

7 Tequilas Mexican Restaurant is a Memorable Experience

For me its the little things that a chef does that makes his or her cuisine memorable! Chef Luis’ take on a Mexican spiced compound butter for the grilled steak took this lunch to an entirely different level!
